Lieh Tzu or Lie Zi is a famous legendary Taoist sage mentioned several times in the Chuang Tzu. It is not certain that he has ever existed.
The Taoist compilation text known as the Lieh Tzu is attributed to this name and was inscribed in the emperor's library's catalogue as Treatise of the perfect emptiness.
