Chaos is described as the "All-Father", "One Father of Life" and "the Dyad", the "Father of thought". On the Tree of Life, Chaos is associated with the Sephira Chokmah or Wisdom (whose traditional title is Ab or Father), and in turn to the part of the soul called Chiah (the "Life-force"), and Yod (seed) of Tetragrammaton. These attributions partake uniformly in the element of fire. Additionally, Chaos is sometimes paired with either Babalon (Binah, Neschamah,Aima, Isis, and He of Tetragrammaton,"Pater et Mater") through the path of Love (Daleth; see the magick circle), or with the Virgin Daughter of Babalon (Earth, Malkuth, Nephesch, Persephone, He final of Tetragrammaton, "Filiae et Pater"; see The Vision and the Voice,4th AEthyr)- "awakening the eld of the all-Father". This uniting of the "Great Father" with the Mother and Daughter completes the Christian conception described in An Essay Upon Number. part II. In Chpt. 11 of The Book of Lies and the Vision and the Voice the unity of Chaos and Babalon as the Supernal Triad is "insisted upon." This unity may be suggested by the identical gematria of both (156). Chaos is sometimes shown as being identical with the Beast. As both the "Word" or "Logos" of the Gnostics, and Wisdom, Chaos pertains specifically to the 2=9 Grade of Magus (which It conceals)- the 11th progressive Grade in the A.'.A.'. As a Tetragrammaton or four-fold Word, Chaos is oftentimes paired with the Sepentary word of Babalon which is linked to the A.'.A.'. Grades of 4=7/7=4 and provides a further identification of Chaos with Zeus and Demiurgos (along with the identification of 2 with 9 - "the lord of air"). Chaos as an alchemical formula has the Notariqon of:
