(Revision as of 04:00, 27 Dec 2005)
Jacques-Albin-Simon Collin de Plancy (1793-1887) was a French occultist, demonologist and writer; he published several works on occultism and demonology.
In 1818 his most well-known work, Dictionnaire Infernal, was published for the first time.
Collin de Plancy followed the tradition of many previous demonologists, cataloguing demons by name and title of nobility, as can be seen with grimoires like [[Pseudomonarchia Daemonum]] and [[The Lesser Key of Solomon]], among others.
