Tawheed (http://www.usc.edu/dept/MSA/fundamentals/tawheed/abdulwahab/index.html) is considered the foundation upon which the 'five pillars (http://www.usc.edu/dept/MSA/fundamentals/pillars/)' of Islam are built. An indepth analysis of the subject is dealt with by Abu Ameenah Bilal Philips in his english work 'The Fundamentals of Tawheed (http://www.usc.edu/dept/MSA/fundamentals/tawheed/abutaw/abutaw_1.html) (Islamic Monotheism)'. and may be considered crucial when considering the 99 names of God and thus Islamic Godforms.
