Talk:Netherwood

This is a copy of a postcard given to me by the individual who currently lives in what was the Netherwood coach house. While in Hastings, I did research at the Hastings library. There are annual tax records that go back to the late 1800s. There is also a good article on the geology and history of The Ridge on which Netherwood stood.

Unfortunately, the copies I made of these documents were in a small backpack left in a train station in Germany and were probably chucked down a hole and blown up by a bomb squad. So much of this article is written from memory. If anyone is in or near Hastings and cares to look up the information, this article could probably use both corrections and more detail.

There are also other accounts of Crowley's death, maybe in Colin Wilson's biography of Crowley, that might be interesting to add. And I'm not entirely sure what he did or wrote during his time at Hastings other than Magick Without Tears maybe. This would be interesting information since Crowley's stay at Netherwood is what makes the place more than just another boarding house.

I moved the article to just "Netherwood", since Hastings is simply the general location. The boarding house itself is the real topic of the article.

I also resized the photo, since it was falling off even my 19" monitor. Great pic, tho! Also, you might want to check out the Tutorial for simple formatting features of the wiki...
