Allan Bennett (1872-1923), a member of the [[Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn]], was a friend and associate of [[Aleister Crowley]]. Bennett assumed the title of Bikkhu Ananda Metteya after spending years of Buddhist study and practice in the East.
