Phyllis Evelina Seckler
(1917-2004)
Soror Meral, IXth degree O.T.O.. Instrumental in the resurgence of the O.T.O. in the 1970's, in collaboration with her then-husband, Grady McMurtry. Master of 418 Lodge of O.T.O. from its inception in 1979 through 2004. A.'.A.'. student of Jane Wolfe (Soror Estai). Recognized as an Adeptus Minor 5=6 by Karl Germer in the 1950s, and carried forward the A.'.A.'. into the modern era. Founder of the College of Thelema and Co-Founder of the Temple of Thelema. Led both organizations until her death in 2004. Warranted the founding of the Temple of the Silver Star in 2000, as a continuation of her life's work. Editor of In the Continuum, the journal of the College of Thelema, for nearly 25 years.
