Euclydes Lacerda de Almeida (Frater Thor) was Marcelo Motta's (http://www.thelemapedia.org/index.php/Marcelo_Ramos_Motta) first student. In 1962, Almeida discovered Motta's book "Chamando os Filhos do Sol (Calling the Children of the Sun)" and writes to him becoming his chela, first in O.T.O later in A∴A∴.

He founded two Thelemic groups in Brazil, the Ordem dos Cavaleiros de Thelema (Order of Knights of Thelema) and the Sociedade Novo Aeon (New Aeon Society).
