Editing articles

The central feature of Thelemapedia is the ability for anyone to add and edit articles quickly and easily. Every article is available for editing, including adding new material, making corrections, removing information, and formatting the page. Editing a page is easy: simply click on the "edit" tab in the nav bar above the page you want to edit (not this page!) and you'll see the code available for changing.

You'll soon notice that most links on Thelemapedia are either blue or red. Blue links lead to articles that have some content in the page, and red means the linked page has no content yet. By clicking on a red link, you have a chance to begin a new articles (which will turn all links to it blue).

Becoming an editor

Right now, editing requires becoming a registered member, which is free and easy. First, give our editorial policies a quick glance and be sure you can abide by them. By applying for membership, you are implicitly agreeing with these policies. Other than agreeing with our editorial policies, there are no other requirements for membership, such as association with any organization or church.

Then when you are ready, send an email to accounts@thelemapedia.org (mailto:accounts@thelemapedia.org) with the following information:

1. Full civil name
2. Desired Username
3. Working email address (this is necessary to get your pasword)
4. City, State, and Country where you reside
5. A brief explanation as to why you would like to join Thelemapedia as an editor.

All personal information will remain strictly confidential.

Your account will be set up within a day or two at the most. Why this little roadblock? Mainly because we want editors who are serious about helping Thelemapedia grow and are willing to wait a day.

Thelemapedia reserves the right to deny or accept any person for membership for any reason and at any time, without the need for explanation.
